Date Night Dinner for Two – Salad, Filet and Soufflé for Two

Delish has this wonderful meal suggestion for a Date Night:

When the occasion calls for a romantic, unforgettable meal, go for a delicious dinner of delicate Frisée Salad with Bacon-Shallot Vinaigrette, our tasty Filet Mignon with Shallot-Red Wine, and boldly flavored Cappuccino Soufflé for Two. And don’t forget to pair it with the perfect wine.

Frisee by Frank C. Müller
Frisee by Frank C. Müller
We really enjoyed this, the peppery goodness of the frisée (curly endive) with the poached egg is a great start to this meal, just watch out for runny yoke mess.

The filet is straight forward, but please, let those steaks rest properly before cutting!

Depending on your date-night goals, you might want to skip the pungent garlic on the frites and go with a truffle oil or just sea salt.
